      Fasten one end of the coaxial cable to the RF jack associated with your home's cable TV wiring.

      Connect the other side of the cable to the RF jack on rear of your Charter cable gateway.

      Plug the power adapter into an outlet and insert the other end into the port on the rear of the Charter cable gateway.

      Plug one end of the Ethernet cable into the Internet port on the Cable gateway and plug the other end of the Ethernet cable into the networking port on your computer.
