Open a Web browser and navigate to the official Google URL tracking builder.

Type your website address in the "Website URL" text box. Below the URL, type the Facebook advertising information you want to use to track the link. For instance, type "Facebook" in the "Campaign Name" text box. When users click the link, this name displays in Analytics.

Click "Generate URL." Below the button, the link displays. Copy the link and paste it to your Facebook Wall. Each time the user clicks the link, Analytics uses the Facebook campaign name to track traffic.
