How to Repair a U-Line Refrigerator

Water Leak

Verify that there is water on the floor that indicates a water leak. Pull your U-line refrigerator unit away from the wall.

Close the shut-off valve for the water line. If a shut-off valve is not present, close the shut-off valve for your home's main water line.

Remove the fitting on the water line with the adjustable wrench to make sure it is threaded correctly.

Examine the threads of the brass fitting to see if plumber's tape was used. Remove all traces of the tape from the threads.

Replace the fitting for the water line back on the refrigerator unit. Tighten the valve with the adjustable wrench.
Not Turning On

Go to your home's circuit panel to see if a circuit has tripped or if a fuse has blown. Turn the breaker on or replace a blown fuse.

Examine the panel on the front of the refrigerator unit. Verify that the control panel indicates the unit is turned on.

Check the power cord to see if it is plugged into an electrical outlet. Verify that the on/off switch is set to the “On” position.
