How to Reconstruct Index Headers on Quicken
Quicken is a personal finance program for keeping track of your home bills, bank accounts and taxes. If Quicken crashes and you have trouble restarting with your personal Quicken data file, you can try reconstructing the index headers of your Quicken data file. This process can sometimes fix data integrity issues that cause the "Quicken has quit unexpectedly" error message when you open your data file. You can reconstruct the index headers by using the "Validate & Repair" tool from within the Quicken program.
