Instructions

    • 1

Wash the plates and bowl, if using, as well as the candle holders or glasses with dish soap and hot water. Thoroughly dry them with the towel.

    • 2

Turn the dinner plate upside down. Find the center of the plate on the bottom using a ruler. Make a small "x" at the center point with the marker.

    • 3

Coat the top edge of the first glass, mug or taper holder with the epoxy. Be sure it coats the entire area of surface that will touch the plate. Turn the glass or candle holder upside down and press it against the dinner plate. Let the epoxy dry for a few hours or as directed on the package.

    • 4

Repeat Steps 2 and 3 with the salad plate and the saucer or bowl.

    • 5

Turn the dinner plate so that top side faces up. Find the center and make a mark at it.

    • 6

Coat the bottom of the taper holder or glass attached to the salad plate with epoxy. Press the coated side of the glass to the mark on the dinner plate. Let dry as directed on the epoxy or for an hour. Repeat the process with the saucer or bowl.

Tips & Warnings

  • Hand-wash the finished tier display.

  • Use a matching set of plates or mix them for contrast.

  • If you only want two tiers, you can use a larger glass or cup for the base plate.

  • Champagne glasses can also be used for supports.
