How to Dress Up as Bella From "Twilight" for a Celebrity Day at School

Kristen Stewart has a similar style to the character she plays on the big screen.

As one of the main characters in the book and movie series, "Twilight," Bella Swan's style seems to reflect the Pacific Northwest where the series takes place. She dresses in darker colors without patterns, layers and heavier jackets. Her casual and simple style only becomes more dressy at formal events. While Bella does have a few dressy outfits such as her blue prom dress, for a celebrity day at school, the casual Bella look may be more approproate.

Things You'll Need

• Jeans
• Non-athletic sneakers
• Long-sleeved flannel
• Thin, plain T-shirt
• Heavy coat
• Blouse
• Blow-dryer
• Curling iron
• Headband

Instructions

1. Wear a dark-washed pair of fitted denim jeans. Accesorize your jeans with a pair of dark non-athletic sneakers to go with the casual look.

2. Put on a long-sleeved plaid flannel if the weather will allow it. Look for flannel in dark colors such as navy, black or forest green. Button the flannel up. Or, put on a neutral-colored thin T-shirt under the flannel and use the flannel as a coverup.

3. Dress up your outfit with a simple but flowing blouse rather than the flannel if the weather is too warm for flannel.

4. Cover up with a denim jacket, a hoodie, oversize wool sweater or heavy curdoroy jacket if it's cold.

5. Keep your hair casual and down. Bella's hair is long, brown and has a few layers throughout. To get the Bella look, part your hair in the middle and blow-dry it straight. Use a curling iron to create loose waves throughout your hair. Accessorize your hair with a thin, plain headband. If you do not have brown hair, wear a long brown wig.

6. Keep your makeup simple and natural looking. Do not apply any type of colorful makeup, such as eye shadow or lipstick. Keep your face fresh-looking.

7. Avoid wearing any sort of jewelry when dressing up as Bella. She only wears jewelry for special occasions, such as the prom.
