Use the Facebook JavaScript Console to test your apps.

Facebook provides third-party developers with many extensive tools that help you create apps. One of those free tools is the JavaScript Test Console, which lets you learn the Facebook JavaScript Software Development Kit (SDK) while testing and debugging your code. Not only does the console let you test your code for possible errors, it also provides real examples of valid JavaScript code that use the SDK.

Instructions

    • 1

Go to developers.facebook.com and sign into your personal Facebook account.

    • 2

Type the keyword "Console" in the top search box labeled "Search for Documentation."

    • 3

Click the "JavaScript Test Console" option from the drop-down listings. You are now at the console and can run code to test your apps.

    • 4

Type or copy and paste the JavaScript code into the large text area box. When you are ready to see how the code works, click the "Run Code" button.
