How to Change the Header for Grunge Basic

Changing the Grunge Basic header image takes only five minutes to do.

Grunge Basic is a dark-based, two-column, Premium WordPress theme developed by ithemes. It has a sharp, fresh look based around a muted black and blue color scheme and clean-looking fonts. This theme features a custom header option, which is easily customizable from the WordPress Admin section. Changing the header to a custom image takes no coding experience and can be done in just a few simple clicks in the user-friendly WordPress dashboard.

Instructions

1. Open your Web browser and go to the WordPress site. Log into the WordPress administration section.

2. Click on "Appearance" in the WordPress Admin sidebar. Click "Header" in the list of options that drops down.

3. Click the "Browse" button in the "Upload Header" section. Select the image from your computer that you want to use as your Grunge Basic header and click "OK." Click "Upload." Wait for the image to upload.

4. Drag the corners of the resizable border around the image to select the area of the image that you want to use as the header. Click "Crop and Publish" to change the header.

Tips & Warnings

• Upload an image of 396 by 196 pixels if you do not want to have to crop the image.
