How to Make an Arabian Turban With a Shirt
An Arabian turban is a type of headdress that can be formed by wrapping a long strip of material around the head. Arabian turbans are traditionally made from cotton or silk, but you can use a shirt made out of any material to create a faux turban. The shirt's sleeves can be tucked back into the turban to secure it to your head. Use different colored and patterned shirts to make a turban that matches your outfit and reflects your personality. Tips & Warnings
Iron your shirt if it is really wrinkled.
Use several small safety pins to attach the sleeves to the main part of the turban if they are not staying put.
The back of the shirt can also be tucked underneath the turban, however in the traditional Arabic style it is left loose.
Excessive movements will dislodge the turban and cause it to unravel.
