How to Get Pandora on a Mac

Pandora is a powerful image search tool.

Pandora is a Web utility that allows you to easily search for images that reside online. It finds relevant images based on keywords you enter and allows you to define certain parameters for your search, including file type, size and resolution. Due to similar nomenclature, Pandora is often confused with the music recommendation service named Pandora Radio. Pandora was formerly called NetScrape.

  At less than 3MB, Pandora is a very small download.
  
  Visit Pandora’s site and click on the green “Download” link. This action opens a second page that contains an identical green “Download” link. Click on this link to begin the download process.

  Select the “Save File” radio button when the “Opening Pandora.zip” window appears. Then click on the blue “OK” button or hit “Enter” or “Return” on your keyboard.

  Allow the download to complete uninterrupted. Double click on the “Pandora.zip” file on your desktop to unzip the Pandora utility file.

  Drag the Pandora icon into your “Applications” folder. Once it’s inside the Applications folder, you can drag it into your dock if you want to easily open it with a single click.

  Double-click on Pandora in the Applications folder or click on the Pandora icon in your dock. Click “Open” in the confirmation window to launch the software. If a new version is available, you will automatically be notified.
