How to Hide a Map in Facebook Places

Change the look of your Facebook page with a few clicks.

If you are an administrator of a Facebook page that is designated as a Facebook place, you have the power to tailor some of the features of the page to suit your needs. While you can display a map of your location in the Info section, you also have the power to hide the map with a few clicks.

Instructions

1. Log in to Facebook with your username and password and navigate to the page in question.

2. Click "Edit Info" at the top of of the page.

3. Click "Basic Information" from the left sidebar menu that appears on the next page.

4. Scroll down to the Map Location section and look for the box that reads "Show map location on the page." Uncheck the box next to the words.

5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save Changes." Your map is now hidden from the Page.
