Apple's iPhoto software lets users intensify the color of the sky.

Apple's iPhoto software not only allows you to manage and organize your digital photo collection, it also gives you the tools needed to enhance your pictures. With tools such as cropping, red-eye removal, exposure adjustment and one-click special effects, users can clean up photos before putting them into a digital slideshow to share with friends. By modifying and enhancing, users can even change the color of the sky.

Instructions

      Click on the iPhoto picture you want to modify, and click "Edit" at the bottom right of the window.

      Click the tab that says "Adjust" on the top right of the window.

      Drag the Exposure control to the right to make the colors in you picture lighter, but don't go so far that it looks washed out.

      Slide the Temperature control left to make the gray or white sky a cooler blue. Adjust manually until the hue is where you want it.

      Click on the "Effects" tab, then click "Boost" to increase the intensity of your blue, creating a deeper tone.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you're unhappy with the an adjustment you've made to the colors in your photo, you can revert to its original state by click "Revert to Previous" at the bottom of the edit window.
