How to Install Lightroom Web Gallery Templates

Web Gallery templates may be used in Adobe Photoshop"s Lightroom to create and integrate photo displays for Web pages. Additional Web Gallery templates may be downloaded from various websites and are easily installed to the Lightroom program. Downloaded Web Gallery template files are usually contained in one Web Gallery folder in a ZIP archived file. Unzip, or extract, the folder from the ZIP file and then copy the file to the correct location in the file system to install the templates. The Web Gallery templates are then visible in the Lightroom application.

Instructions

1. Close your Lightroom application.

2. Double-click on the ZIP file. The file opens as a folder in Windows.

3. Right-click on the Web Gallery template folder and click “Copy” from the context menu.

4. Right-click on the Windows “Start” button and then click “Open Windows Explorer.”

5. Navigate to and click on the following folder to open the contents in the right pane.

   C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Web Galleries\

6. Right-click inside the “Web Galleries” folder and click “Paste.” The new Web Gallery template folder pastes into the Web Galleries directory.

7. Open the Lightroom program.

8. Click the “Web” option on the top navigation bar. The new folder is listed under “Engines.”
