How to Use Header Tags With BlogJet

BlogJet is a cross-platform application that lets users compose blog posts offline. It works with WordPress, Blogger, Drupal and other blogging sites, letting you sync your blog up to the application to publish directly. By default, anything you type in the BlogJet window will appear in the post body, but you can also add header tags through the program’s HTML functions. This allows you to change post titles, include metadata or add JavaScript functions.

Instructions

    • 1

      Open BlogJet.

    • 2

Select “Recent Posts” from the “Blog” menu.

    • 3

Click the post for which you wish to modify the header tags.

    • 4

      Click “HTML.”

    • 5

Type “<head></head>” (no quotes) at the top of the page. These mark the beginning and ending of your header tags.

    • 6

Enter the tag content between “<head>” and “</head>.” Whatever you include for your header must be in HTML format.

    • 7

Click “Save” to save the post with the header tags when you are done.
