Set Up the Plugin

Download Adobe Flash Player from the Adobe website. Close Mozilla Firefox and then double-click the setup file to install the Flash Player plugin to the browser.

Go to the website where you want to record a video. Click "Allow" when the "Adobe Flash Player Settings" window appears.

Click "Allow" when the message "Allow <Website> to Access Your Camera and Microphone?" appears, with "<Website>" being the URL for the web page.

Click the camera icon and then select your webcam from the list. Click "Close" to begin recording with the webcam plugin in Firefox.
Test the Plugin with Facebook

Sign on to Facebook and click "Video" on your wall.

Connect the webcam to the PC, if applicable.

Click "Record a Video with a Webcam." The "Adobe Flash Player Settings" box should appear. If you don't have a Facebook account, you can also use a website like Cameroid.
