How to Make a Paracord Single Tail
Making a paracord single-tail bullwhip is a creative way to express your sense adventure. Traditional single tails are made from leather and extend over 6 feet long. The 1981 film, "Raiders of the Lost Ark," featured a single tail whip as the main tool used by the movie's lead character, Indiana Jones. Although a real single tail whip would put kids in danger, making a basic faux model with paracord string will provide an enjoyable toy.

Remove the masking tape. Braid and sew the 3 inches of remaining cord at the far end of the whip.

Fold the left half of 6-by-6-inch canvas over the right half. Stitch the folded flaps together on the right side of the canvas 1/4 inch removed from the edge. The canvas creates a slide-on handle for the whip. Turn the handle inside out.

Fold one end of the whip 6-inches over its body. Fit and slide on the handle until the short end of the handle is flush with the folded end of the whip.
