How to Make a Princess Headdress for a Child
Princess costumes are quite popular among little girls, and every princess costume needs a princess headdress. The headdress is different depending on the type of princess costumes. While today many princesses wear tiaras, there used to be many different types of headdresses depending on the different culture. - Ribbon
- Feather
- Glue
- Construction paper
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Scotch tape
- Stapler
- Sheer crepe paper or sheer fabric

Find a colorful ribbon that matches the color of the princess costume.

Glue a tall and colorful feather to the middle of the ribbon. Glue the feather on the inside of the ribbon. Wait for the glue to dry.

Wrap the ribbon around the child's head. Tie or sew the ends together to fit the child's head. Cut off any excess ribbon.

Draw a quarter circle on construction paper. The radius of the quarter circle should be around 15 inches.

Cut out the quarter circle and trim a half an inch from the point of the quarter circle.

Cut around six strips of crepe paper, ribbon or sheer fabric, 1 inch wide and at least 20 inches long.

Attach the streamers to the tip of the quarter circle. You can tape, staple or glue them.

Roll the quarter circle into a cone shape and staple, tape or glue the base together and along the seams. Decorate the finished headdress as the child pleases.
