How to Decorate the Top of Cabinets With Wine Bottles

Wine bottles make an interesting focal point above cabinets.

Decorating the area above kitchen cabinets can prove challenging with such limited access. Ideally, you want to choose items that you don't have to constantly care for, such as plants or flowers. Wine bottles make excellent decorations on top of your cabinets. However, it's important that you don't overdo the look and make your kitchen look cluttered.

Things You'll Need

• Paint
• Candles
• Artificial vine

Instructions

1. Dust the area above your cabinets before decorating. Paint the wall above the cabinets if it is dirty. Choose an off-white or cream color to create a nice backdrop for the wine bottles.

2. Use your favorite decorative wine bottles or purchase some antique wine bottles at a home goods store. Place the bottles roughly 6 inches apart along the length of your cabinets.

3. Place candles or other decorative items in between the wine bottles to create a diverse and pleasing look.

4. Weave a bit of greenery or artificial vine throughout the bottles to connect the decorations and complete them.
