How to Make Pergo Laminate Floors Shiny
Pergo is a common brand of household laminate. The company provides laminate in many faux wood finishes, which are durable even with kids and pets. The laminate is actually easy to care for, but if it receives the wrong cleaners, it will quickly dull. Clean the laminate carefully with mild cleaners to get the best shine. Waxes, polishes and jet mops actually work against the laminate's shine because of the buildup they leave behind. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Sweep the floor to pick up the dust. Do this regularly -- daily in high-traffic areas -- to prevent dirt from scratching the surface. The less the surface is scratched, the more the flooring will shine.
-
2
Mix 1 cup vinegar in 1 gallon water and wash the floor with this solution. Use this mix for regular cleaning. Using plain vinegar instead of harsh chemicals protects the laminate's coat and keeps it shiny.

Use Pergo's Laminate and Hard Surface cleaner for tough stains such as cigarette burns and nail polish. A flawed surface will not look shiny, so use the correct cleaner to return it to like new condition.
