How to Open an Acer Expiration One Hard Drive
The Acer Aspire One netbook is a small, ultraportable laptop that uses a SSD or hard drive. You can open up the Acer Aspire One to access this drive for troubleshooting purposes or an upgrade. The hard drive bay is on the bottom of the case and covered by a separate hatch. You don't need to remove the entire bottom of the case to get to the hard drive, simply the panel for the drive bay.

-
5
Press the Acer's hard drive in the opposite direction of the drive connector to disconnect it from the netbook. Pull the drive out of the drive bay and unscrew the drive's bracket if you want to swap out the old hard drive for a new drive.
