How to Troubleshoot 2000 Camry Overheating ECU
The ECU (engine control unit) is vital equipment that controls the amount of fuel, ignition timing, air/fuel mixture, idle speeds, valve timing and other essential engine functions. The ECU is often altered for performance or fuel saving. Altering the ECU's setting requires the use of an ECU control module. The ECU in the 2000 Toyota Camry is located under the driver's seat. An overheating ECU should be replaced immediately since it is definitely malfunctioning.
