How to Install Repeater Bridge EOC2611P
The EnGenius EOC2611P is a wireless access point intended for long-range outdoor applications. The device features the ability to operate as a repeater bridge, allowing the EOC2611P to link with other similar devices to provide wireless Internet coverage over a large radius. The installation of the access point is a relatively straightforward affair that requires no special tools. In most cases, the installation takes up to 30 minutes to complete.

Insert one end of the first Ethernet cable into the "LAN" port on the access point and insert the other end into the "PoE" port on the PoE injector. Insert one end of the second Ethernet cable into the "LAN" port on the PoE injector and insert the other end into the "Ethernet" port on the computer.

Insert the "DC" inlet of the power adapter into the "24V DC IN" port on the PoE injector. Plug the power supply into an available "AC" power outlet.

Access the "Control Panel" on your computer and double-click on "Network Connections." Double-click on your active connection, highlight "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)," and then click "Properties." Select "Use the Following IP Address" and enter "192.168.1.10" as the IP address and "255.255.255.0" as the subnet mask. Click "Ok" when finished.

Enter "192.168.1.1" into the Web browser's address bar and press "Enter" to navigate to the router's login page. Enter the router's username and password, and then click "Ok" to access the graphical user interface.

Click "System Properties" under the "System" section of the main menu. Select "WDS Bridge" from the "Operation Mode" list and click "Apply." Allow the page to refresh and log in once more, if necessary.

Complete the installation by fine-tuning the desired options. Remove the Ethernet cable from the computer and insert it into the "Internet" port of a nearby cable or DSL modem when finished.
