How to Get to Hyjal in "Cataclysm"
"Cataclysm," released in 2010 for the PC, is the third "World of Warcraft" expansion. Like every expansion, "Cataclysm" adds new areas for players to explore and quest in. One such area is Hyjal, a wilderness area that is being ravaged by the forces of Ragnaros and Deathwing. It is the first new area all "Cataclysm" players experience, as it is intended for players Level 79 or higher. Hyjal requires a flying mount to access it.

Travel to the continent of Kalimdor using your faction's transportation methods, such as by zeppelin or boat.

Travel to Ashenvale, located north of the Barrens.

Press "P" and select the "Mounts" tab. Click on the flying mount you wish to ride.

Use your flying mount to fly over the mountain range on the north end of Ashenvale. On the other side of the mountains is Hyjal.

Tips & Warnings
Players can also reach Hyjal by completing the quest chain "Twilight Highlands," found in either Orgrimmar for the Horde or Stormwind for the Alliance once you reach Level 79. At the end of the quest chain, a portal is created that takes you directly to Hyjal.
