How to Get Facebook Updates and Messages on a Motorola Citrus
Keep current on all of your Facebook friends' activities even if you can't get to a computer. Once you activate your Motorola Citrus phone number on your Facebook account, you will get text-message updates from Facebook. You'll receive text messages when your friends update their status, send you private messages, write on your wall or tag you in a video or photo. You are also able to text your own updates and replies by sending text messages from your Citrus.

Click "Account" at the top right corner of your Facebook page.

Click "Account Settings" from the Account drop-down menu.

Click the "Mobile" link on the left side menu on the Account Settings page.

Click the "Add a Phone" button.

Select your country and wireless carrier from the drop-down menus in the Step 1 dialog box. Click "Next." If you wireless carrier is not listed in the drop-down menu, your carrier does not support Facebook texts.

Text the letter "F" to "32665." Wait for Facebook to text you back with a confirmation code.

Type the confirmation code in the Step 2 dialog box on Facebook. Click "Next." If you change your mind, you can remove your phone number by clicking the "Remove" link next to your phone number on the Mobile page.

Tips & Warnings
You can also download the Facebook app from the Android Market. Tap the "Launcher" icon on your Motorola Citrus homepage, then tap the "Android Market" icon. Enter "Facebook" in the search bar, then tap "Install."
