How to Make Different Types of Magnetic Bracelets
Magnetic bracelets are said to help with providing pain relief for conditions such as arthritis, according to BBC News. While it is possible to purchase these items from jewelers, you can save yourself money by making one yourself in a variety of ways. Making the bracelet yourself also allows you to add personal touches and items to the bracelet, which can look thoughtful if you are giving the bracelet as a gift.

Magnetic Strip
-
1
Measure a section of magnetic strip around your wrist. Cut this length of strip with scissors.
-
2
Punch a hole in each end of the magnetic strip.
-
-
3
Cut a 10-inch piece of satin cord. Feed the cord through one hole in the magnetic strip. Bring the end around and across the trunk of the cord. Feed the end around the cord and back through the created loop. Pull the knot tight. This cord will be used to secure the bracelet.
-
4
Remove the protective cover from the magnetic strip and dry it with baby powder to remove the tackiness. Attach decorated bottle caps to the magnetic strip for decoration.
Beaded Bracelet
-
5
Arrange the magnetic beads in the desired configuration.
-
6
Feed beading wire through the holes in the beads. Leave 1/2 inch wire at each end.
-
7
Check that the clasp and the bead at the clasp end of the wire attract each other. Add a crimp bead to the wire. Loop the wire through the clasp and back into the crimp bead. Pull on the long wire to make the loop smaller and keep the end of the wire inside the crimp bead. Crimp the bead with crimping pliers. Repeat the process on the other half of the clasp on the other end of the bracelet.
