How to Crochet Bras
If you know how to crochet, you can stitch up some fancy or plain bras with some yarn and a crochet needle. The crocheted bra can be used as part of a bikini or as a personalized piece of lingerie. Once you have mastered this crochet bra pattern, you can stitch up a selection in a variety of colors. This crocheted bra would make a great wedding shower or bachelorette party gift.
Things You'll Need
- Tape measure
- 1 skein worsted weight cotton yarn
- Crochet hook J
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle

Chain 24 with the crochet hook and the yarn. Skip two chains closest to the hook and single crochet in each chain.

Turn the piece of work, chain 2 and single crochet in the tops of each previous row’s single crochet. Repeat this row four times.

Turn the piece of work and insert the crochet hook in the top of the first single crochet, bringing up a loop of yarn. Single crochet in the next stitch, making a decrease. Repeat the decrease at the end of the row.

Decrease 1 stitch at the beginning and end of each row until only 1 stitch remains. Chain stitch for 24 inches with the tail from the final stitch for a halter tie. Knot and cut the yarn to complete one bra cup. Repeat all steps to create a second bra cup.

Thread the tapestry needle with 12 inches of yarn. Sew the cups together at the center bottom edges of the bra cups.

Attach the yarn to one outer bottom edge of a bra cup and chain stitch for 24 inches. Repeat on the opposite side outer bottom edge to complete the bra, which is tied behind the back.
