How to Use eBay Partner Links in Facebook

EBay partner links allow you to earn money by referring others to the eBay website. You can register free to become an eBay partner and create eBay links to the eBay homepage, products on eBay or a specific eBay store. You can then share these links on networks like Facebook. When members of your Facebook network click on the link, your eBay Partner ID is embedded in the link and allows you to act as an affiliate and receive a commission on any purchases made using your link.

Instructions

1. Log in to your eBay Partner Network account.

2. Click the "Tools" tab, and then click the "Link Generator" link. You have the option to create a link to the homepage of eBay, specific products and eBay stores. Select the radio button next to the option of choice. If you select the specific products option, you have the chance to search for products by keyword. The appropriate code to these product search results is then generated. If you select eBay stores, you need to know the specific ID associated with the store on eBay. You can find the ID by going to eBay and browsing to the store. The store ID is displayed at the end of the URL, next to "ID."

3. Click the "Generate Link" button.

4. Highlight the link and then press the "Ctrl" and "C" keys simultaneously to copy the link.

5. Log in to your Facebook account.

6. Click the "Link" icon at the top of your Facebook homepage under News Feed.

7. Click inside the link field and press the "Ctrl" and "V" keys simultaneously to paste in the eBay link.

8. Click the "Attach" button.
