Use the iPad's on-screen keyboard to enter capital letters.

The iPhone, a multimedia smartphone developed by Apple, features a touchscreen interface through which nearly all actions on the device are performed. For instance, when you open a text input field, an on-screen QWERTY keyboard pops up from the bottom of the display. This keyboard contains many of the familiar options found on a standard computer keyboard. Use the iPhone's "Shift" key to capitalize selected letters or enable the "Caps Lock" feature and capitalize all letters you type.

Instructions

    • 1

Open a typing field to bring up the iPhone's on-screen keyboard.

    • 2

Tap the "Up Arrow" key on the keyboard.

    • 3

Tap a letter; it displays capitalized. The next letter you type will appear in lower case unless you first press the "Up Arrow" key again.

Tips & Warnings

  • Double-tap the "Up Arrow" key to toggle the "Caps Lock" feature on; tap once more to toggle it off.
