Instructions

    • 1

Embellish the votive cups by decoupaging Valentine colored tissue paper on to the glass cups. Use a decoupage medium to adhere cut or torn pieces of paper to the cup with a paint brush. Cut the paper in the shapes of small hearts for cute cups.

    • 2

Decorate the cups with rhinestones instead if you desire. Use craft glue to add glittery crystals and stones to the outside of the votive cups. Allow the cups to dry before placing the candles inside.

    • 3

Place a red table cloth on to the table. Group several candles together on a silver platter or serving tray and set it in the center of the table. If you have a lot of candles, use several small trays or mirrors and put a couple of candles on each one. The mirror or tray will reflect the candle light.

    • 4

Sprinkle rose petals all over the table like confetti. Use the rose petals as a table runner of sorts, and make a line of petals between the candle groupings, or just add a few petals directly around each votive grouping.
