How to Move Emoticons From MSN to MySpace
While MySpace does have its own emoticons that you can use to display a certain mood or emotion, you may find a time when you want to use one from another source. If you've found the perfect emoticon on MSN and you want to transfer it to your MySpace profile, it's not as easy as cut and paste; however, you can accomplish this task with the help of some other tools available on your computer.

Start a MSN chat window, and select the emoticon you want.

Press the Shift and Print Screen buttons on your keyboard at the same time. This will save a copy of what your screen looks like right now, including the emoticon you want to use.

Open the MS Paint program on your computer, then start a new file.

Draw a box on the Paint document by selecting the box tool from the top menu bar.

Select the right-click on your mouse, then click "Paste" to paste the image from your Print-Screen task onto the Paint document. Be sure your cursor is inside the box you created in the previous step so that your pasted image goes into the box.

Select the box tool again and draw a box around the emoticon, without any of the other text or images showing.

Highlight the box and right click, then select "copy."

Start a new Paint document.

Right-click, and select "Paste" to paste the box with just the emoticon into your new Paint document.

Click "File," then "Save As," then save the file as an image file. JPG or GIF will work.

Log in to MySpace with your username and password.

Click "Upload Photos" from the top of the MySpace pane, then select "Choose file" to select the image file you just saved. When the image is loaded, click "Share." This will share the emoticon with all your friends on MySpace.
