How to Link Bridge With Portfolio
Adobe Bridge is a file organizational tool and media processing software that comes standard with many Adobe products. Adobe Portfolio is part of Adobe Acrobat, the document creator software. Linking portfolio files which are in PDF format with Adobe Bridge can be done through the "Preferences" menu in Bridge. After the operation is complete, Adobe Bridge will be the default program for opening portfolio files. This file association can be changed back anytime.

Open Adobe Bridge. Click "Start Menu," "Programs," "Adobe Bridge." Wait for the program to open.

Click "Edit" at the top of the screen. A drop down menu will appear.

Click "Preferences." A menu box will open.

Click "File Type Associations."

Scroll down to "PDF Document."

Click the drop-down menu and select "Adobe Bridge."

Click "OK." Adobe Bridge will now be associated with Adobe Portfolio files.
