How to Double Post on Craigslist
Double-post on Craigslist when you need to advertise the same product or service but you want to reach two separate audiences. For example, if you plan to rent out your apartment in advance of an upcoming music festival, you might post an ad in "Vacation Rentals" as well as "Sublets/Temporary" under the Housing section. Craigslist prohibits posting duplicate ads, so create original ad titles and copy, even if you are posting about the exact same product or service.

1
Choose the "Post to Classifieds" option and select the first category (and a subcategory, if applicable) under which you'd like your ad to appear. Enter a title, your location or the item's location and a price, if the ad calls for one. Type concise yet descriptive ad copy to give readers the essential details of your product or service. Click "Continue."

2
Preview your ad, then click "Continue." Type the image verification string and click "Submit." Check your email inbox for a message from Craigslist. Open the email when it arrives and click the link embedded in the message to publish your ad on Craigslist.

Return to the Craigslist home page and select "Post to Classifieds" again. Choose the second category and a subcategory, if appropriate. Enter the second ad title and type the details of your offer, using completely different wording. It isn't necessary to conceal that the product or service is identical to the one you posted earlier, but you do need to frame the ad in a way that makes it appropriate to post a second time on a different section of the site.

Click "Continue" and preview your ad. Click "Submit" and wait for another confirmation email from Craigslist. When you receive it, click the embedded link to publish the second ad. If Craigslist determines that the ad is too similar to the first one, your post will be blocked.
