How to Kill Darko or Let Him Live in "Grand Theft Auto 4"

Drive to the airport to meet Darko, Niko's betrayer.

In "Grand Theft Auto IV," Niko comes to Liberty City to get revenge on Darko, the man who betrayed him and his squad in a war 10 years ago. Niko's allies, the United Liberty Paper, find Darko after years of searching for him. Darko is at the mercy of Niko and his cousin, Roman, when they confront him at the airport. After Darko explains what happened in the war, you must choose to kill him or spare his life. Your decision ultimately affects the way the story ends.

Instructions

1. Complete the "Pest Control," "Liquidize the Assets" and "Weekend at Florian's" missions. When you finish the last mission, your cousin, Roman, calls you on your cell phone.

2. Answer the phone. Roman tells you that Darko was found at Francis International Airport. Follow your map marked to Firefly Island. Wait for Roman to get in the car.

3. Follow the next marker on the map to Francis International Airport. Enter the cargo bay. Stop the car on the yellow beacon. A van drops off Darko.

4. Listen to what Darko has to say. After the scene, pull out your pistol and shoot Darko if you want to kill him. If you want to let him live, just walk away.

5. Get back in the car and drive Roman to the marked location. Drive into the yellow beacon to finish the mission.
