After Hiding a Friend on Facebook, How Can You Add Them Back?
When someone posts too much on Facebook -- or makes a few irritating posts -- a convenient option is to hide him. This stops his posts from appearing on your Facebook wall, but does not remove him as a friend. Unless you tell him that you hid his posts, your friend never even knows that you did so. At some point, after your temper has cooled or if you simply miss your crowded news feed, you may wish to add your friend back. The way to do so is not particularly obvious unless you know exactly where to look.

1
Sign in to your Facebook account. Navigate to your news feed if you aren't already there.
-
2
Scroll down to the very bottom of your feed. You may have to go to the bottom of the page more than once, as more items may show up on your news feed as you scroll.
-
-
3
Click "Edit Options" in the pale blue bar at the bottom of your news feed. This brings up a window displaying everything and everyone that is currently hidden from your feed.
-
4
Click the "X" to the far right of the name of the friend who you wish to stop hiding. This removes him from your list of hidden people. Click the blue "Save" button on this small window to save your new settings. Your friend's posts now appear in your news feed again.
