How to Like a Web Page on Facebook

How to Like a Web Page on Facebook thumbnail
Only the official representative of a company or organization can run a Facebook page.

Liking a page on Facebook gives you faster access to its updates and makes it easier to return to the page in the future. After you hit "Like" on a page, every time the page administrator posts a status update or other piece of content, the new information shows up on your homepage news feed. Go to the "Info" tab on your profile and scroll down to the "Activities and Interests" section to view the full list of pages you like.

Instructions

    • 1

Type the name of the page you're looking for in the search engine at the very top of any Facebook screen.

    • 2

Click the name of the page in the short list of results, if the correct page appears. If you don't see the page you want to "Like" in the short list, click "See more results." Click "Pages" on the left side of the full list of search results to filter your results. When you see the name of the correct page, click it once.

    • 3

Click the gray "Like" button at the top of the page, just to the right of the page's name.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you don't want to like a page anymore, return to the page and click "Unlike" in the page's left column.
