How to Do Make Up to Make Brown Eyes Greener

The green tones in brown eyes can be enhanced with makeup.

You may not be able to permanently change the color of your eyes, but you can make your brown eyes look greener with a few makeup tricks and techniques. Some brown eyes with green tones are considered to be a hazel color. You can bring out the green hue of hazel eyes by using eye makeup that contains green tones such as liners, shadows and mascaras.

Things You'll Need

• Green eye shadow
• Makeup brushes
• Dark-green eyeliner
• Black mascara

Instructions

1. Use at least two shades of green eye shadow on your eyelids to enhance the green hues in your brown eyes. Cover the eyelid with a light-green shade, then sweep a darker shade just below the eyebrow. Blend the green colors together with a makeup brush.

2. Use dark-green eyeliner on at the base of each eye, as close to the bottom eyelashes as possible. Make the liner as dark as you desire. Blend and smooth the eyeliner with a foam makeup stick.

3. Apply a layer of black mascara to your top eyelashes to complete the makeup on your eyes. The mascara will draw attention to your eyes, while the greens in the eye shadows and eyeliner will bring out the green tones in your brown eyes.
