How to Get Owl City on Tap Tap

Owl City has several tracks for purchase in "Tap Tap Revenge."

The popular iOS game series "Tap Tap Revenge" lets you tap along to your favorite music tracks, pressing buttons in time with the beat. While the game includes several free songs, others require separate purchase. You can purchase these tracks from bands such as Owl City in two-packs through the game's built-in store. The charges process through your iTunes account, either from your iTunes Store credit or its associated credit card or PayPal account.

Instructions

1. Open either "Tap Tap Revenge 3" or "Tap Tap Revenge 4."

2. If playing "Tap Tap Revenge 3," press the "Tap Tap Store" button and then push "Tap Tracks." If you're using "Tap Tap Revenge 4," just push "Music" on the main screen.

3. Press the "Browse" tab at the top of the screen.

4. Tap on "Artist" and scroll down to "Owl City" and press it. Alternately, you can type "Owl City" into the search box on the artist screen.

5. Press the song title you want to buy. "Tap Tap Revenge" sells songs in packs of two, so you'll get both the song you pick plus one other at the same time.

6. Push "Purchase track pack - $0.99" to confirm the selection. If you haven't purchased anything on your iPhone recently, a prompt will appear for you to sign into your iTunes account. Enter your password and press "Buy" to confirm the purchase.

7. Return to the game mode in "Tap Tap Revenge" and select your new tracks to play.

Tips & Warnings

• Owl City only has one two-song track pack consisting of "Fireflies" and "Vanilla Twilight" in "Tap Tap Revenge 4." If you want to buy their other pack, "Deer in the Headlights" and "Galaxies," you have to make the purchase and play through "Tap Tap Revenge 3" instead.
