How to Care for a Rubberwood Table
Everyone knows that rubber comes from trees, but the same tree that provides that rubber also provides a source of renewable wood for tables, chairs and other types of furniture. Wood from the tree, which is typically harvested only after it has stopped producing sap, is a pale yellow. Use a soft cloth or feather duster to clean your rubberwood table on a regular basis. You should clean the rubberwood table at least once a week, but wiping the dust off of it daily is a good practice.

Clean up spills immediately, using a paper towel or soft cloth. Never allow a spill to sit, because it could permanently stain your table. Clean the area around the spill with a quality furniture cleaner after wiping up the moisture.

Use a wood conditioner to clean your rubberwood table at least twice a year. Conditioning the wood keeps it in good shape and helps you avoid problems before they occur. Use a quality wood conditioner and apply it according to the instructions on the package.
