How to Get ESN From a Kyocera Phone

Power off the phone if you opt to remove the Kyocera's battery.

You can get your Kyocera phone's electronic serial number, or ESN, without removing the phone's battery cover and battery. The ESN is a unique identifier that is used to manually program your phone. By entering the right code on your phone, you can get it to display the ESN on your screen even if it is not currently programmed. Knowing where to locate the number can save you the time spent on the phone waiting for assistance through technical support.

Instructions

1. Enter "##6343#" using your Kyocera phone's keypad while viewing the home screen.

2. Click "MEID" to view programming information for your phone.

3. Review the information listed. Write down the ESN number before exiting the screen. Press the "End" key to exit to the home screen.

Tips & Warnings

• Also locate your Kyocera phone's ESN by removing the battery cover and battery. The ESN is listed on a white label affixed to the phone.
