How to Have a Chat Account on eBuddy Lite

EBuddy Lite is a service that you can use to connect to multiple instant messaging networks such as AIM, Yahoo! Messenger and Windows Live Messenger from a Web browser window. EBuddy stores your login credentials for all of these networks and allows you to log in to each of them simultaneously using a centralized account called your eBuddy ID. Create an eBuddy ID to use the eBuddy Lite service for chatting online.

      Navigate in your Web browser to ebuddy.com. Click the "eBuddy ID" button at the top of the page.

      Click the green "Create an eBuddy ID" button. A pop-up window titled "Let's create your eBuddy ID" appears.

      Click the field under "eBuddy ID," and type the username that you would like to use when signing in to the eBuddy Lite service.

      Click the field under "Password," and type your desired password. Click "Next."

      Click the field under "Your email address," and type your email address.

      Type your age and gender, and then click the "Create" button to create your account.

      Open a new browser window or tab, and navigate to m.ebuddy.com to display the eBuddy Lite Web page.

      Click the "eBuddy ID" button at the bottom of the page.

      Click the "Select a network" drop-down menu at the top of the page, and click "eBuddy ID."

      Enter your username and password, and then click the "Login" button.
