How to Make a Text Hippo
If you find that communicating with mere words when you write an email, forum posting or text message is not as interesting as you'd like, you might be in the mood to add a whimsical image of an animal such as a hippopotamus with your keyboard. You may be familiar with the procedure for creating pictures with the keyboard, such as a smiley face emoticon made with a colon and a parenthesis, as in ": )." A text hippo is made in a similar fashion, with a dash standing for the creature's tail, and a capital "O" serving as the fat body.
