How to Delete Recommended Books on the Nook Color
The Nook Color is a tablet sold by Barnes and Noble. It is designed for downloading and reading electronic books, newspapers and magazines from the company's website. The Nook Color supports color graphics; the original Nook only displays back and white. As you use your Nook, it's likely that you'll build a collection of books, and you may want to delete some of them from time to time. Books cannot be deleted directly from the Nook; instead, you must delete them through your Barnes and Noble online account.

Navigate to Barnesandnoble.com using your computer and log in to your account. Click on the "Sign In" link at the top of any Web page to log in.

Click on "My Account" and select "My Nook Library." A list of your current Nook books will display in your browser.

Select "Archive" or "Delete" to remove recommended books that you no longer want. Archiving a book removes it from your Nook but you can access it at a later date; the "Delete" option permanently removes the book from your Nook.

Power on your Nook Color and click "My Library."

Choose to check for new Barnes and Noble content to update your library. Any changes that you made to your Nook library on your Barnes and Noble account will now be synced to your Nook Color.
