How to Fish With Your Bare Hands in "RuneScape"
When your character has Barbarian skills in the online role-playing game "RuneScape," your character can perform a wide variety of tasks without the need of equipment. By learning Barbarian skills, you can light logs without a tinderbox, smith special Barbarian weapons and fish without fishing equipment. The Barbarian Fishing skill allows you to catch leaping fish with a Barbarian rod or catch tuna, swordfish and shark with your bare hands. To learn the Barbarian fishing skill, you must speak to Otto Godblessed.

Train your Fishing to Level 55, Agility to Level 15 and Strength to Level 35.

Travel to a bank and withdraw 10 fishing bait and a games necklace.

Right-click the games necklace and click "Rub." Select "Barbarian Outpost" from the dialog box that appears on your screen. Your character teleports to the Barbarian Outpost.

Run southwest around the lake and enter Otto's house.

Speak to Otto and you will receive a Barbarian skills book and a book for notes.

Walk northwest to Otto's bed and click the bed to search. Your character will find a Barbarian rod.

Exit the house and click one of the fishing spots to use the Barbarian rod to catch a fish. Once you catch a fish, you will receive a message informing you that Otto wishes to speak to you again.

Click Otto and click, "Are there any ways to use a fishing rod which I might learn?" Otto explains the Barbarian Fishing skill. Speak to Otto again to learn the barehanded fishing technique.

Travel to a harpoon fishing spot. There are several fishing spots that allow you to fish with harpoons, including Catherby, Rellekka, the Fishing Guild, the Elf Camp and Burgh de Rott.

Right-click the fishing spot and click "Harpoon." Your character uses his hand to catch fish. At 55 Fishing, you can catch tuna and at 70 Fishing you can catch swordfish. To catch shark barehanded, you must have 96 Fishing.
