Other professionals and organizations can then search for you through the search feature. To see the searches on LinkedIn, simply create a free account and log in to begin using the search feature.

Log into your LinkedIn account.

Click inside the "Search" box in the upper-right corner of the page.

Type the name, title, company or school of the person you are looking for.

Click the "magnifying glass" icon to the right of the search box to begin your search.

Click the drop-down box next to "View" at the top of the screen and select "Expanded." All people matching your search are listed along with their location, current and past job titles and the number of shared connections.
