Instructions

    • 1

Select a mascara marketed primarily for lengthening as these tend to have a more lightweight formula. Check that the wand is slim with short bristles that are closely packed.

    • 2

Run mascara tube under a stream of hot water for five minutes if the product has become dry and hard to work with.

    • 3

Pump the wand in the tube a few times to stir up the product.

    • 4

Push the wand back into the tube at an angle to wipe off any excess mascara that might cause clumps.

    • 5

Apply the mascara at the base of the lashes, then pull the wand up while wiggling it from side to side. Repeat if necessary to coat any missed lashes. Allow the mascara to dry.

    • 6

Run a lash comb through the lashes to remove any clumping.
