How to Add the Costume Template to Blogspot

Blogger offers several free templates for you to install automatically from your Blogger Dashboard. With a bit of technical knowledge, you can customize your blog further, adding your own template or a free Blogger template downloaded from the Web. Add the Costume Party template to give your blog a colorful, flamboyant style that attracts readers.

Instructions

1. Download the Costume Party template from the Web. Right-click the folder on your computer, then select "Extract All Files" to make it ready for uploading to Blogger.

2. Log in to Blogger.com, then click "Design" under the blog name that you want to add the template to.

3. Click the "Edit HTML" tab.

4. Click "Download Full Template" to save the current template to your computer. This is a precautionary measure so you don't lose data in the event of an error.

5. Click "Choose File" next to "Upload a Template from a File on Your Hard Drive."

6. Locate and double-click the Costume Party template file that ends with ".xml" extension.

7. Click "Upload."

8. Load your blog in a browser to ensure that the Costume template is in place and that it works properly.
