How to Get a Soda Stain Off My Carpet Using Peroxide
It's a familiar scenario: You turn on the television, prop your feet up and pop open a soda only to watch its contents spring forth and onto your carpet. Besides normal accidents and clumsiness, soda spills are often caused by the buildup of carbonation that propels soda out of cans and bottles when you open them. Luckily, you can remove many soda stains with a solution that is based on the ingredient hydrogen peroxide. Does this Spark an idea?

Blot excess soda from the area with a clean, dry cloth.

Pour enough hydrogen peroxide directly onto the stain to cover it completely.

Blot the area with a clean, dry cloth. Continue to blot until the moisture is removed from the area.

Repeat the application of peroxide, along with the blotting action, until the stain is removed.

Tips & Warnings
Test an inconspicuous area of the carpet with the peroxide first, as hydrogen peroxide can damage the color of some surfaces.
