Instructions

    • 1

Tie fake berries along lengths of real or artificial pine boughs. Drape the boughs from one railing to another along your front porch.

    • 2

Wrap strands of solid or multicolored lights around the balusters of the railings. The lights will illuminate the space and add a warm glow to the front of your home.

    • 3

Place battery-operated pillar candles in candle holders on the railings of the porch. This idea is best suited for porches that have wide railings that can easily support the candle holders.

    • 4

Tie decorative bows around the front of the railings of the porch. Tie bows around the first, middle and last railing on either side of the porch, or tie larger bows at these points and tie smaller bows on the railings in between these points.

    • 5

Wrap decorative red ribbon around the railings to create the look of candy canes.
