Facebook helps you to stay in touch with family and friends.

Facebook apps are a way for you to customize your profile by adding extra features. Twenty million apps are downloaded and installed by Facebook users every day, allowing users to change layouts, connect to outside websites or add calenders and tickers. If one of the apps you installed onto your Facebook profile isn't working properly, the only way to get it fixed is by reporting the problem to the application's original developer.

Instructions

    • 1

Go to the app's profile page. To find the profile page, type the name of the app into the search text box, then click the magnifying glass icon to the right. Click "Apps" in the left column, then click the application name from the search results list.

    • 2

Click "Contact Developer" in the left column.

    • 3

Click the "down arrow" next to Type of Issue, then click "Report problem with app."

    • 4

Type "App is not working properly" into the subject line and write a message in the "Your message" box. For example, you may want to let the developer know the specific issue you are having with the app.

    • 5

Click the "Send" button and then wait for the developer to respond.

Tips & Warnings

  • Facebook apps are unofficial and are not controlled by Facebook. Don't contact Facebook about non-working apps, because only the original developer will be able to fix it.
