How to Replace a Fast Twist Bite Spikes

They provide better absorption of pressure with each step than hard spikes and are far less-damaging to golf courses. In fact, most golf courses have banned hard spikes because of the damage they cause. the only downside to soft spikes is that they are less durable than their hard counterparts and need to be periodically changed.

Tips & Warnings
Sometimes it can be difficult to remove the spikes if there is a lot of hardened dirt cementing it in place. To counteract this difficulty, soak the sole of your shoes in water for 10 to 15 minutes before using the CleatKaddy tool. Also, if you do not have the specified tool, a simple pair of needle-nose pliers can work just as well.
Do not use an electric drill to remove fast twist spikes -- it can, and will, damage the metal threads holding the spikes in place.
